The wiper motor was made by Lucas.

British electricals taint even swedish cars. Of course it is decades old now, but it’s not actually dead either... it just sometimes doesn’t do anything. Many decades of sort of working, is that worse than many decades of working and then dying?

It takes the same (often broken) cancel switch as the Mini, it’s possible there’s something awry in there.
